Minutes of the Joint Meeting of the

City of Peshtigo and the Town of Peshtigo Plan Commissions

The August 10, 2004 meeting of the joint Plan Commissions was called to order at 6:35 p.m. by Town Chairperson, Herman Pottratz at the Peshtigo Town Hall.

Town Plan Commission members attending were, Ed Malechuk, Herman Pottratz, Bob Cerrato, Karen Sylvester, and Ed Sedor. Absent was Tom Fetterly and Bruno Brysiewicz.

Also atttending were City of Peshtigo Plan Commission members, Jim VanLanen, Josh Schedler, and Steve Peterson pf Bay Lake Regional Plan Commission, Town Supervisor Pat Ravet, a reporter from Peshtigo Times and one town resident.

VanLanen distributed information on Extraterritorial Zoning and showed its effect on the Town of Peshtigo. He explained that the City of Marinette is allowed a 3 mile radius while the City of Peshtigo has a 1-1/2 mile radius although neither municipality is required to plan for the entire area if they choose not to.

Schedler will prepare a digital version of the agreed upon future land allocation map complete with the location of the highway by-pass for distribution.

VanLanen distributed a listing of Historical Sites as is shown on the State date base. Each jurisdiction should review the listing and bring the updated version with them to the next meeting.

Schedler reviewed the various Natural Resource maps which Bay Lake currently has.

There was no public comment.

The next meeting will be held at thePeshtigo Town Hall on September 14, 2004 at 6:30 p.m.

Brman made a motion to adjourn at 7:37 p.m. Second by Sedor. Carried.
