PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES

October 18, 2004

 

The October 18, 2004 meeting of the Town of Peshtigo Plan Commission was called to order by Chairperson Herman Pottratz 6:30 P.M.

 

Plan Commission members attending were Bruno Brysiewicz, Bob Cerrato, Tom Fetterly, Herman Pottratz, Ed Sedor and Karen Sylvester.  Ed Malechuk was excused.  Also attending were several town residents and the reporter for the Peshtigo Times.

 

Item 5 “Kakuk Property” was deleted from the agenda.  Motion by Cerrato, second by Sedor to approve the amended agenda.  Carried. 

 

Motion by Cerrato, second by Brysiewicz to approve the minutes of the October 5, 2004 meeting.  Carried.

 

Oren Ninnemann asked about the status of the Kakuk property.  Specifically the sanitary permit however it was explained the Town of Peshtigo has no jurisdiction over sanitary permits.  There was no further public input.

 

Commission members reviewed the listing on multiple dwellings as well as the letter drafted in that regard.  Minor changes were made to the letter.  On motion by Sedor, second by Sylvester the letter will be reviewed by Coggins and then sent to all of the property owners as shown on the listing with the exception of those with a commercial building and residential dwelling on the same parcel.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Motion by Pottratz, second by Cerrato to change page 15 Section 3.A.9.g.1 of the Zoning Ordinance to read: Solid fences and walls shall not be more than 6 feet in height and shall be on the lot line.  Approved unanimously.

 

Motion by Cerrato, second by Brysiewicz to amend page 11, Section 3.A.6. of the Zoning Ordinance to read in part: Accessory buildings which are not a part of the main building shall not occupy more than 30 percent of the area of the required rear yard, shall not be more than 20 feet high and such building or projection thereof shall not be nearer than five feet to any lot line,....  Approved unanimously.

 

The re-zoning requests presented last month were applied to the map and the zoning map was finished.  Sylvester will deliver it to Bay Lake Regional Planning in Green Bay for printing as soon as possible.

 

The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 8, 2004 at 6:30 P.M.
