February 9, 2006 Town Board Meeting called to order at 10:00 A.M.

Chairperson Ed Sedor X

Supervisor 1 Dan Staudenmaier A                    Supervisor 2 Don Pazynski X

Supervisor 3 Karen Sylvester X                         Supervisor 4 Patrick Ravet A

Announcements:  Sedor told Board members the City of Peshtigo Council met last evening and adopted the Joint Municipal Court Ordinance.  We will do likewise at the next Town Board meeting.

The Town Plan Commission will meet this evening to look over a condominium development located by Little River Country Club along CTH BB.

Agenda Approval:  Motion by Sylvester to approve the agenda as amended.  Second by Pazynski. Motion carried with 3 yes votes.

Public Input:  Jeff Budish who resides on Rehms Road asked to speak regarding an ongoing problem with his neighbor, Brian Kaster’s outdoor woodburning furnace.  Budish said the woodburner is located about 75’ from his house and is inside a shed with a chimney only 1 foot higher than the shed.  The smoke surrounds his home a lot and he wants to know if the Town Board could provide him with some help.  According to Budish, he has already discussed the matter with his neighbor and has gone so far as to offer to pay for a chimney extension; however, Kaster is not interested.  Budish was asked to attend the Town Board meeting on February 21st so the matter would be a part of the agenda at which time the Board could discuss it.

Code of Ordinances:  The Code of Ordinances was reviewed with several corrections being made.  Of major concern to the Board is the section which was recently added by Attorney Alan Harvey regarding copyright of the document.  Sedor said the contract, which was signed years ago, does not refer to the finished product having a copyright.

The next meeting will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 12-Noon.  The review process will start at Section 2-5-2.

Adjourn:  Motion to adjourn at 1:05 p.m. by Pazynski, second by Sylvester.  Motion carried with 3 yes votes.

Respectfully submitted,

Karen M Sylvester
