February 23, 2006 Town Board Meeting called to order at 11:05 A.M.

Agenda Approval:  Motion by Sylvester to approve the agenda as presented.  Second by Pazynski.  Motion carried with 4 yes votes.

 

Public Input:  No public comment.

 

Award Audit Bid:  Town Treasurer, Vilas Schroeder informed the Board he had contacted both audit firms regarding the bids that had been opened at the February 21st Town Board Meeting.  Kerber, Rose & Associates bid on a one year audit while Johnson and Rennie bid on a two year audit. 

 

Schroeder informed the Board Johnson and Rennie verbally stated a one year audit would come in at $3,600 plus $75.00 per hour (no time estimate was provided) to comply with GABS but the audit would not be completed until June 30th.  Kerber, Rose  and Associates came in at $3,650 plus $100 per hour taking 4-8 hours for GABS and the audit would be completed by May 18th.  Motion by Sylvester, second by Pazynski to approve Kerber Rose and Associates for the 2004/2005 audit.  Motion carried with 4 yes votes.

 

Code of Ordinances:  The Code of Ordinances was reviewed with corrections being made.  The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at 11:00 a.m.  The review process will start at Section 12.  Clerk Coble should have heard from the utility companies regarding the provisions in Section 6, Title 4 by that date.

 

Adjourn:  Motion to adjourn at 2:35 p.m. by Sylvester, second by Pazynski.  Motion carried with 4 yes votes.
