Agenda Approval: Motion
by Karen Sylvester to approve the agenda
as amended. Item number 5 (act on fire commission recommendations on fire
station and equipment) and item number 6 (act on applications for Plan
Commission and Board of Appeals) were removed for the agenda. Second by Don Pazynski. Motion carried with 5 yes votes.
Public Input: Russ Bauer talked against the issue of
granting Dawn Tank a license to operate the bar on the corner of Hwy 64 and
County Road RW. Also presented the Board with a petition signed by 27 persons
against giving a Liquor License to Dawn Tank to operate T&T bar.
Application for
Liquor License by Dawn Tank to Operate T&T Tavern: Motion by Pat
Ravet to deny issuance of the liquor and beer license applied for to operate
T&T Tavern, based on statements contained in letter received from Dawn Tank
to the Town Board received October 3, 2006 and based on petition signed by 27
persons presented by Russ Bauer to the Town Board. Second by Don Pazynski. Amendment to the motion by Dan
Staudenmaier to include a letter from Michael Modl dated Oct 18, 06, stating
Dawn was involved in the business as manager when it was operated by John Bayer
as Scooters. Second by Don Pazynski. Motion to amend carried on roll call
vote with all voting yes. Motion to amend by Ed Sedor
stating that it is also denied based on a telephone call to Cindy Hagert on
10/17/06 from Mr. Bayer to remove his name and Scooters from all information
pertaining to T&T Tavern. Further clarify per Mrs. Tank letter she felt
dancers could expose Breasts and Private dancing nude. Whether she gets a
license or not the dancers will remain nude. Also a letter to the Town that he
(John Bayer) was not the owner. This is in contradiction in the lease to Dawn
Tank for business, formerly Scooters (to be renamed as T&T), John Bayer was
listed and signed as co-owner of the building at W3109 State Highway 64, Marinette, WI
54143. Motion to amend
carried on roll call vote with all voting yes. On a roll call vote on entire
motion carried with 5 yes votes.
Motion to adjourn by Karen
Sylvester. Second by Pat Ravet. Motion carried with 5 yes
votes. Meeting adjourned at 7:18 P.M.
