Approximately 50 town residents, Vilas Schroeder, Oren N. and the Peshtigo Times and Eagle Herald reporter were present.

Public Hearing on Liquor License for Scooters Bar: Motion by Karen Sylvester to withdraw the Hearing on Scooters Bar Liquor License. Second by Don Pazynski. Motion carried with 4 yes votes and 1 no vote from Pat Ravet. Reason for withdrawing hearing was the absence of witnesses for the town.

Motion by Karen Sylvester to adjourn public hearing on Scooters Bar license. Second by Don Pazynski. Motion carried.

Public Hearing on Surplus Property off Rader Road: The following persons made comments during the public hearing: Joyce Buchman, Gary Lynwood, and Amber Lynwood.

Motion by Don Pazynski to close the public hearing. Second by Karen Sylvester. Motion carried with 5 yes votes.

Town Board Recessed until 7:00 p.m.

Town Board meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m.

Agenda Approval: Item number 8 (Review financial statement with auditor) was removed from the agenda.

Item number 6 (vote on disposition of property on Rader Road) and item number 11 (Liquor License) were interchanged on the agenda. Motion by Karen Sylvester to approve the agenda as amended. Second by Don Pazynski. Motion carried with 5 yes votes.

Minute Approval: The minutes of April 20, 2004, May 18, 2004 and June 7, 2004 were approved with a motion by Karen Sylvester. Second by Pat Ravet. Carried with 5 yes votes.

Treasurers Report: Motion by Pat Ravet to approve the treasurer’s report. Second by Don Pazynski. Motion carried with 5 yes votes.

Payment of Vouchers: Motion by Don Pazynski to approve voucher numbers 12375 through 12437. Second by

Dan Staudenmaier. Motion carried.

Public Input: Approximately 16 area persons presented comments in regards to the multi-modal corridor that is to be built along the new Highway 41.

Liquor License: Motion by Karen Sylvester to approve liquor licenses as presented for the year July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005. Second by Dan Staudenmaier. Motion carried with 4 yes votes and 1 no vote from Pat Ravet.

Resolution Number 04-1 Multi-Modal Corridor: Motion by Don Pazynski to approve the resolution as read in support of the Multi-modal trail for use by other than snowmobiles. Second by Dan Staudenmaier. Motion carried with 5 yes votes.

Michiel’s Lane Refinishing: Motion by Don Pazynski to deny payment of the bill submitted by Michiel’s for moving his sign from the Town right-of-way. Second by Herman Pottratz. Motion carried with 3 yes, 1 no by Patrick Ravet, and 1 abstention vote by Karen Sylvester.

Backup for Ken Johnston: Ken Johnston is putting together a list of his jobs tasks and a job description will be written. The Town will then advertise for a part-time position.

Operator Licenses: Motion by Karen Sylvester to approve the operator licenses as presented. Second by Pat Ravet. Motion carried with 5 yes votes.

Wage Adjustment for Office Assistant: Motion by Dan Staudenmaier to pay the office assistant Cindy a $0.50 pay raise to $10.50 retroactive to May 12, 2004. Second by Pat Ravet. Motion carried with 5 yes votes.

Repair of Engine 205: Motion by Pat Ravet to authorize repairs to Engine 205 as per low bid of $88,055.00 by Elite Power Products of Tilleda, WI 54978. Second by Karen Sylvester. Motion carried with 5 yes votes.

Road Names: Motion by Karen Sylvester to approve the names of Eagle Nest Lane and Lauren Lane for the two roads off McFadden Road in the Vernon Dumke development. Second by Don Pazynski. Motion carried with 5 yes votes.
