January 29, 2004 Town Board Meeting called to order at 6:30 p.m.

All Town Board members present. Approximately 10 town residents, the Peshtigo Times and EagleHearld reporters were present.

Agenda Approval: Motion by Karen Sylvester to approve the agenda as published. Second by Don Pazynski. Motion carried.

Maple Hill Road: Motion by Dan Staudenmaier to accept Maple Hill Road as a Town road. Second by Don Pazynski. Motion carried.

Snow Plowing of Town Hall, Fire Station, Garage and Recycling Center: Motion by Don Pazynski to request bids for snow plowing of the Town Hall, Fire Station, Garage and Recycling Center. Bids due by February 17, 04 Board meeting. Second by Dan Staudenmaier. Motion carried with 4 yes votes and one no vote by Pat Ravet.

Motion by Karen Sylvester to bring back Rose Peth Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and every other Saturday at the Recycling center. Motion failed due to lack of a second.

Motion by Dan Staudenmaier that the layoff of the town road workers continue indefinitely. Second by Don Pazynski. To clarify the vote when asked by the Town clerk if Rose Peth could no longer work at the recycling center it was stated that she could continue to work the every other Saturday at the recycling center. Dan Staudenmaier also has permission to use Rose Peth if necessary for the hall and Don Pazynski has permission to call Rose Peth for road work as needed for roads. After clarification of the motion by Chairperson the vote was taken and the motion carried with 3 yes votes and 2 no votes by Karen Sylvester and Pat Ravet.
